Guide us to the straight path.

AL-ARAFheedless-1
وَلَقَدْ ذَرَأْنَا لِجَهَنَّمَ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ لَّا يَفْقَهُونَ بِهَا
And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand.

أَفَرَأَيْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُ هَوَاهُ
Have you seen he who has taken as his god his own desire?

ذَٰلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
“This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah.”

إِنَّكَ لَا تَهْدِي مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ يَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ
“Indeed, you do not guide whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills.”
لماذا هذه الآيات؟
Guidance is from Allah alone.

مَن يَهْدِ اللَّهُ فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِ وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُ وَلِيًّا مُّرْشِدًا
“Whoever Allah guides—he is the guided; and whoever He leaves astray—you will never find for him a guiding protector.”
لماذا هذه الآيات؟
Allah's guidance is essential.

فَمَن يُرِدِ اللَّهُ أَن يَهْدِيَهُ يَشْرَحْ صَدْرَهُ لِلْإِسْلَامِ
“So whoever Allah wants to guide—He expands his chest for Islam.”
لماذا هذه الآيات؟
Allah opens hearts to guidance.

وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا
“And those who strive for Us—We will surely guide them to Our ways.”

Striving leads to guidance.
